As a judge in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas weighs motions to dismiss the NRA's bankruptcy case claim, many legal experts predict a strong chance of a dismissal.
"Big cases tend not to get dismissed for bad faith issues," Professor Robert Lawless said. "But there's a strong chance of that here."
Regardless of what the judge decides, experts also predict the NRA has a slim chance of resolving its legal problems and resuming its position as a force within American politics.
