Professor Paul Heald has been named president of the international Society for Economic Research on Copyright Issues. In August, he presented two papers at the SERCI annual Congress in Boulder, Colorado ("The Cost of Copyright Revisited:. Small Market and Competition Effects" and "Reuse and Digitization of Museum Images" with Mattias Sahli and Alexander Kuntz). The same two papers were presented in Cambridge, UK at the conference on European Policy for Intellectual Property in September, and he recently spoke in Glasgow on Copyright Duration at the 21 for 21 conference hosted by CREATe.
