CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Global Education and Training hosted a welcome reception celebrating a new cohort of Fulbright Fellows on Feb. 6 inside the Siebel Center for Design.
This new cohort, made up of 15 students from around the world who have been accepted into the Fulbright program, will spend a semester on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus taking English language courses through GET's Intensive English Institute.
During the Spring and Summer semesters, each scholar will be working toward improving their score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). They will also be applying to different universities across the U.S. to advance their studies and research.
