Students will visit dairy farms and companies, gain knowledge, experiences and skills needed to perform management practices on dairy farms as well as careers related to the dairy industry. Students utilize knowledge they gain in their undergraduate classes in a real life setting in management, nutrition, reproduction, marketing, manure management, and animal care in order to maximize production and profit. Students should sign up for ANSC 398 N: Dairy Management Spring Trip, CRN 61016. Student costs are dependent number of student and would include transportation and motels (estimated $200-$300)
