We CU Community Engaged Scholars, in collaboration with the Humanities Research Institute (HRI), invites undergraduate humanities students to apply for the University of Illinois Humanities in Action (HIA) program for fall 2024. HIA Scholars learn to apply their humanities training in new ways while addressing a vital area of need in our Champaign-Urbana community. They receive all the benefits of being a We CU Scholar, including training, connection to like-minded peers, and access to mini grants to cover service-related costs. They also receive support and mentorship and a chance to learn more about what HRI has to offer undergraduate students. Register to attend the upcoming info session! Applications are due by March 8, 2024.
