KAUST Gifted Student Program Foundation Year participants celebrated Saudi National Day with KGSP Program Manager, Anna Kasten. Through the Foundation Year, KGSP students experience university life, attend rigorous courses in a challenging academic environment, and acquire skills necessary to pursue a successful undergraduate education experience at top U.S.universities.
In 2019, GET hosted undergraduate students from China and South Korea, who participated in 3-week long academic and cultural programs on-campus at the University of Illinois. These summer school programs were focused on the following subjects: information science and engineering, general education, data science, and entrepreneurship.
Illinois Abroad & Global Exchange
Nine Illinois Abroad Ambassadors holding study abroad tee shirts after completing training. IAGE recruited 43 returnees to serve as Illinois Abroad Ambassadors for the 2019-2020 academic year. The Global Engagement Team Program Assistants coordinated 3 trainings and developed a webpage to feature the Illinois Abroad Ambassadors on the IAGE website.

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences sponsored a symposium with University of Illinois partners in Vienna, Austria, to discuss study abroad program operations.
