Junaid Rana (Asian American Studies, IPRH Fellow 2005–06)received the Association of Asian American Studies (AAAS) Book Award for the Social Sciences, for Terrifying Muslims: Race and Labor in the South Asian Diaspora (Duke, 2011). The award was conferred at the AAS Annual Conference in Seattle in April 2013.
