The Atmospheric Agriculture section of the Illinois State Water Survey is seeking a student (undergraduate or graduate) to conduct programming work for atmospheric and environmental data processing and visualization. Various data will be used such as in situ, LiDAR, and satellite. Programmer also responsible for server setup and maintenance.
The primary responsibility will be to write and revise code for atmospheric data processing. Remote sensing data and images will be included.
Must be a current student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Atmospheric Science or related field. Must have programming experience; preferably with Matlab and Python.
10-20 hours working remotely under current stay-at-home order. Work at the Illinois State Water Survey will be expected after the stay-at-home order is lifted. May start ASAP in September.
