Assistants of SAVANT field experiments (up to 3)

This position is to assist in an intense atmospheric science field experiment using aerosol and wind-field instruments to observe airflow and pollutant movements under stable conditions. The project is funded by NSF: Collaborative Research: SAVANT: Stable Atmospheric Variability and Transport.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The assistants will help set up instruments, measure data, download data from instruments, and produce weather forecasts for project decision-making, as needed. The position may require work during nighttime and in the field occasionally.
Required Education and Experience: in undergraduate or graduate programs, or recent graduates in Atmospheric Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Proposed start date: ASAP and open until suitable candidates are found.
Appointment status: 10-20 hours per week, short to long term (4 months to 2 years). Pending successful performance and funding availability, the position may be renewed annually for up to two years.
Salary rate: based on qualification, $9-20/hour
