The Illinois State Water Survey (ISWS) is presenting information and outcomes from a study on arsenic concentrations found in resident wells in the Tolono area on Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
The meeting will be held in the Tolono Town Hall, 111 East Holden St., Tolono, at 7 p.m. Parking is available in the bank parking lot across the street from the Town Hall.
ISWS scientists collected samples from 17 wells in the Tolono area and analyzed previous samples from 54 wells. They will discuss these results at the meeting. Residents who have wells in the area would be particularly interested in these findings.
