Staff from the Illinois State Geological Survey have been assisting state agencies with access to critical data during the COVID-19 response. ISGS ingested a data feed from the Illinois Department of Public Health, republishing the data in an ArcGIS format that is easier for other agencies to use. This ArcGIS data service is being utilized by the Illinois State Police, first responders, and the Illinois Emergency Management Agency for decision-making. Western Illinois University also has created a publicly available dashboard using this data service.
