  • Campus Safety Notice

    This morning, a Campus Security Authority reported to the University of Illinois Police Department that a man inappropriately touched a woman at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, on the main Quad.

  • Community Safety Notice

    At about 11:28 p.m. Saturday, Champaign Police responded to the 100 block of East Green Street for a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers began providing medical aid to a 20-year-old victim, who was then transported to a local hospital and taken into surgery in critical condition. None of the people involved are believed to be affiliated with the university.

  • Campus Safety Update

    As we noted, it was reported at 4:29 a.m. Wednesday that three men had entered a sorority house in the 100 block of East John Street, Champaign, and walked around the first floor of the building for a few minutes before leaving. The University of Illinois Police Department has identified two of the three individuals involved, and one has been arrested.
