At 9:55 p.m. Saturday, a U. of I. student reported that his bicycle had been stolen from Florida Avenue Residence Halls, 1005 College Court, Urbana, between Sept. 3-5. The bike was valued at $400.
At 11:09 p.m. Sunday, a U. of I. student reported that a tire on his vehicle had been punctured while parked in a lot in the 900 block of South Fifth Street, Champaign. Damage was estimated at $83.
On Friday, a U. of I. student reported that she had been followed on three separate occasions between Aug. 27 and Sept. 3 in the Main Quad area, Urbana. On the first occasion, the person asked for directions but continued following her. The same person followed her again an two other occasions.
At 3:40 p.m. Thursday at 1110 W. Springfield Ave., Urbana, Alex Miller, 21, of Champaign, was issued three city of Champaign notices to appear in court for hosting a nuisance party, reckless conduct and endangering the public health. On Aug. 28, officers witnessed a loud party at Miller’s residence in the 100 block of East John Street, Champaign. Attendees were not social distancing or wearing face coverings, and more than 10 people were present.
On Thursday, Emmanuel O. Imarenezor, 21, of Champaign was issued three city of Champaign notices to appear in court for hosting a nuisance party, reckless conduct and endangering the public health. Imarenezor was identified by officers as an attendee and leaseholder of the residence in the 900 block of South First Street, Champaign, where a large party was witnessed on Aug. 28.
