At 12:27 p.m. Wednesday, a U. of I. professor reported that she had received an email containing offensive language directed at the professor. The professor does not know the sender.
At 1:34 a.m. Thursday, a U. of I. student reported that a man had followed her on his bicycle while she was riding a skateboard in the area of Second Street and Gregory Drive, Champaign. The man made a statement that alarmed the student, and then rode away.
A U. of I. employee reported that her wallet had been stolen from her office between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Agricultural Bioprocess Laboratory, 1302 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Urbana. The employee later found the wallet near a building exit, but cash had been taken from it.
At 6:22 p.m. Wednesday, a U. of I. student reported that a tire on his vehicle had been punctured while it was parked in U. of I. parking lot B-11, 105 S. Gregory St., Urbana. The student said the tire had been in working condition the last time he drove the vehicle on Sunday. The estimated cost to replace the tire is $250.
