Cecil A. Kimble, 22, was arrested at 9 a.m. Wednesday at his home in the 500 block of Valley View Drive, Philo, Illinois, for possession of child pornography. In April, U. of I. Police detectives who are also members of the Illinois Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a tip that someone using Kimble’s account uploaded a pornographic video to a social media app. Police obtained a search warrant for Kimble’s social media account and residence and found additional evidence of illicit videos stored on his mobile phone. He was arrested when police served the search warrant at his residence Wednesday.
