At 9:31 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East Gregory Drive, Champaign, Tamika Davis, 47, no address provided, was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court related to a Champaign County warrant for failure to appear in court. A passerby initially called police to check on Davis after she was seen sleeping in the grass.
Hailey A. Burlando, 20, of Chicago, and Jamal Sayed, 20, of Elmhurst, Illinois, were arrested at 11:50 p.m. Friday for domestic battery. Police initially were called to an apartment in the 700 block of South Fourth Street, Champaign, after a neighbor heard fighting. Burlando was still at the apartment when police arrived, and Sayed was found walking in the 500 block of East John Street. After speaking with both, police determined that the two were mutual combatants in a physical altercation as both individuals had visible injuries. None of the injuries required medical attention.
At 2:51 p.m. Wednesday at the U. of I. Public Safety Building, 1110 W. Springfield Ave., Urbana, William C. O’Donnell III, 22, of Deer Park, Illinois, was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for trespassing. O’Donnell was identified as one of three people who entered a sorority house in the 100 block of East John Street without permission at 4:29 a.m. Wednesday. O’Donnell contacted police after a campus safety notice was sent, and he was issued the notice to appear in court after an interview at the Public Safety Building.
