At 3:20 a.m. Wednesday at the University of Illinois Police Department, 1110 W. Springfield Ave., Urbana, Brian D. Sample, 38, of Poplar Grove, Illinois, was arrested on a charge of criminal sexual abuse. Sample was interviewed and later arrested by U. of I. Police after an investigation into accusations that he inappropriately touched an acquaintance without her consent.
At 10:58 p.m. Wednesday near Third and Clark streets, Champaign, Quatazze T. Moore, 31, of Champaign, was arrested on two Champaign County warrants for failure to appear in court during a traffic stop. Moore’s vehicle was initially stopped for failure to signal. Moore also was issued two state of Illinois notices to appear in court.
