Wesley, 43, no address provided, was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for trespassing on state-supported property. Wesley agreed to pay for the merchandise after being stopped by security, but officers learned that he previously had been issued a no-trespassing notice for U. of I. property.
At 1:41 p.m. Nov. 10, at his apartment in the 700 block of South Sixth Street, Champaign, U. of I. student Mason A. Beydoun, 19, was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Police with the multijurisdictional Street Crimes Task Force obtained a search warrant for Beydoun’s apartment upon learning that he was expecting a delivery of 112 grams of dimethyltryptamine through the U.S. Postal Service. Immediately after watching Beydoun accept the delivery, police entered the residence and found additional controlled substances and drug packaging materials.
