A U. of I. student reported that someone used a sharp object to scratch his vehicle Thursday between 10:30 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. while it was parked in the 1100 block of South Sixth Street, Champaign. An estimated cost to repair the damage was not available at the time of the report.
A U. of I. student reported that his headphones had been stolen around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Activities and Recreation Center, 201 E. Peabody Drive, Champaign. The student unintentionally left the headphones behind in a workout area.
A U. of I. student reported that undergarments had been stolen from her laundry on three separate occasions in mid-August and early September in the laundry room of Goodwin-Green Apartments, 300 S. Goodwin Ave., Urbana. The clothing has a total estimated value of $30.
Asia C. Jennings, 19, of Champaign, was arrested at 1:34 a.m. Friday near Fourth and Green streets, Champaign, for aggravated battery. A police officer on patrol was flagged down by an apartment security guard who reported that Jennings had sprayed him with pepper spray. The altercation occurred as the security guard was trying to remove Jennings from the building because she was not a resident there and was reportedly spraying others with pepper spray.
A U. of I. student reported that his bicycle had been stolen between Tuesday and Thursday from Hopkins Hall, 1208 S. First St., Champaign. The bicycle, which has an estimated value of $600, was locked to a rack.
