Gary B. Amole, 55, of Urbana, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Champaign County Satellite Jail, 502 S. Lierman Ave., Urbana, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a lookalike substance and possession of a hypodermic needle. Police had been looking for Amole after he reportedly fled from a June 6 traffic stop near Florida Avenue and Race Street, Urbana. His vehicle was recovered at that time with the drug materials inside. On Tuesday, officers were informed that Amole was at the jail after being arrested in a separate case.
