At 10:17 p.m. Tuesday near the corner of Fourth and Daniel streets, Champaign, Connor A. Adams, 19, of Champaign, and Thomas F. Furst, 19, of Champaign, were issued notices to appear in court for endangering public health. An officer stopped the vehicle driven by Adams for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. All four occupants of the vehicle were under the age of 21, and an unopened case of beer was observed in the vehicle.
At 2:47 p.m. Wednesday, Angus D. Gardner, 60, of Urbana, was issued a notice to appear in court for violating a no-trespass order for state-supported property. Gardner was found by police removing scrap metal from Morrill Hall, 505 S. Goodwin Ave., Urbana. Gardner previously had been issued a no-trespass order.
At 4:52 p.m. Wednesday, a U. of I. student reported that his bicycle had been stolen from a rack located at 1214 S. First St., Champaign, between March 14 and Aug. 21. The bicycle had been locked to the rack; its value is unknown.
At 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Heath D. Cozad, 25, of Urbana, was arrested for an outstanding Clay County warrant. Cozad was the passenger in a vehicle that had been stopped near the intersection of Fourth Street and Springfield Avenue, Champaign.
