PNG
All PNG files in your folders are 300ppi by default
- Open 000_AAAAA_OrangeI_RGB.eps in Adobe Illustrator
- Go to File > Export > Export As... and name this 000_AAAAA_72ppi.png
- Check “Use Artboards”
- Range: 1
- Export
- Select resolution (and indicate above with file name)
- Make sure the Background Color is Transparent
- Click Ok
NOTE
The white area around your unit wordmark is called an artboard. The name of the artboard in this file is _OrangeI_RGB. When you save your file, the artboard name will automatically be added to the end of the file name, making the final file name: 000_AAAAA_72ppi_OrangeI_RGB.png.
TIF
- Open any of your .eps files in Adobe Photoshop
- In the “Rasterize EPS Format” dialogue box:
- Make sure “Constrain Proportions is checked”
- Change the size of your image to match the exact size you will be using in your final design (increasing the size of your image later on in the process may result in a pixelated image)
- Make sure the Color Mode matches the file you’re using. For example, if opening 000_AAAAA_BlueI_CMYK.eps make sure that "Mode" is set to "CMYK Color"
- Click Ok
- Go to File > Save As and keep the file name as is (000_AAAAA_BlueI_CMYK.tif)
- Choose TIFF in the format menu
- Save
- You shouldn’t have to change anything in the TIFF Options dialogue box, just make sure “Save Transparency” is checked, and click Ok.
JPG:
NOTE:
The following variations of the unit wordmark should NEVER be saved as a JPG:
- “Blue I with white”
- “Orange I with white”
- “1-Color" in white
Additionally, JPG files should never be placed over images or over any background colors other than solid white.
- Open 000_AAAAA_1Color_CMYK.eps in Adobe Illustrator
- Go to File > Export > Export As... and name this 000_AAAAA.jpg
- The artboard in this file will automatically add _1Color_CMYK, making the final file name: 000_AAAAA_1Color_CMYK.jpg
- Format: JPEG (jpg)
- Check “Use Artboards”
- Range: 1
- Export
- Color Model: CMYK
- Quality: 10 Maximum
- Resolution: High (300 ppi)
- Click Ok
