Community-Academic Scholars Initiative
The Community-Academic Scholars Initiative matches undergraduates with a faculty mentor and a community partner to address issues affecting our community. This year’s program includes fourteen powerful projects from faculty across the University of Illinois that address a range of topics, including the rural healthcare, poverty and social inequality, nutrition, educational equity, disability awareness, social-emotional learning, technology and aging, racial disparities, Veterans’ issues, postpartum pain, and socio-cultural connectedness among Black youth. Join the Stress Management Peer Leaders
McKinley Health Center's Health Education Unit seeks volunteers to become Stress Management Peer (SMP) Leaders. SMP is dedicated to providing education and awareness to UIUC students on stress-related topics. We facilitate stress-related workshops; participate in campus-wide program planning & other organized events. This is a great opportunity to enhance leadership skills and meet new people! Interest sessions will be held at Noyes Laboratory Room 157 on January 31st and February 7th from 5:30 PM – 6:30.

Biology Student Group Feature: Pre-Medical Fraternity
Phi Delta Epsilon is UIUC leading medical fraternity. We consist of a supportive group of pre-med students that emphasize professional development and service in the UIUC area and to the Children’s Miracle Network.
