The Matanzas point (c. 5300-year old) is made from non-local chert, found in Schuyler and Cass counties.
The small probable Late Archaic (c. 3000 years old) dart is similar to other points more commonly found in eastern and southeastern Illinois but has local correlates in the western part of the state as well.”
