ISAS recently hosted two researchers from the University of Louisville who are studying Dalton projectile points (8500–7900 BC) from the Midcontinent as part of a pilot research grant project. The public often thinks that the artifacts we recover just sit in boxes on shelves. In reality, our collections are used for ongoing research by archaeologists from around the world.
