As finals week approaches, we would like to wish all Illini a happy and safe final season. Exam season can be an incredibly daunting and stressful period during the semester. Therefore, self-care becomes even more important during this time of the year. So, we would like to remind you that exercise can be an important form of self-care. Students can use this opportunity to experience the benefits of working out and relieving stress.
Bike at Illinois encourages students to take breaks from intense study sessions by riding bicycles. It is important that students practice proper bike safety and utilize the bike paths that are available on campus for student use. Check out the bike map on the Bike at Illinois website to plan your next bike ride in the community. By utilizing these resources, students can travel and see various parts of campus and enjoy the benefits of working out. Even though finals can be an incredibly daunting time, it is important to know that there are resources in place to ensure that students reach their fullest potential during this challenging time.
In addition, the weather will ultimately improve, and it will be easier for students to ride their bicycles. We wish that all Illini have a safe and happy final season and we want all students to take care of themselves during this time. We're all in this together! We wish you the best of luck for your final exams and projects!
Remember to always follow the rules of the road while biking, lock your bike with a U-Lock, and register your bike via the Bike at Illinois website.
