Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! In 2019, bicyclists across the country have been a voice for safe streets and a biking community for everyone.
When more people ride bikes, life is better for everyone. That's why we're grateful this holiday season for all of the people like you who advocate, educate, and mentor to grow our movement by making it safer and easier to choose to bike. #GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world on December 3, 2019 and every day.
It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community. So, on December 3, 2019, join the movement and give - whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.
