Erin Molay is determined to give her future students the most authentic and enriching experience a classroom can offer. That's why after she has completed her studies as an Elementary Education major and Psychology minor, Erin plans to travel the world and explore the cultures and communities abroad. When asked about her time with the College of Education, Erin said, "I love the close-knit community atmosphere!"

Q: Where is home for you?
A: Deerfield, Illinois.
Q: What is your year and major?
A: I'm a sophomore and Elementary Education major, with a minor in Psychology.
Q: What do you enjoy about the campus experience, so far?
A: I enjoy the RSO opportunities to meet others with similar interests as me.
Q: How did you know you wanted to go into the field of education?
A: I wanted a career where I could continue learning and working with others!
Q: What do you enjoy about the College of Education?
A: I love the close-knit community atmosphere.
Q: Do you have a favorite professor or course? Why?
A: Leadership 140 is a favorite of mine because I was able to learn a lot more about myself and how to become a successful and well-rounded leader.
Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
A: I have 4 dogs! They are all rescues.
Q: Tell us about your future career plans after graduating and why you want to pursue that field.
A: I want to travel the world to learn about all different types of communities and cultures and be able to bring that back to my classroom and create a super authentic learning experience for my students!
