Following in her mother's footsteps, Special Education senior Danielle Golob wanted to pursue education as early as second grade. She says that getting to experience education both from her own schooling and through her mother's eyes provided her with a different perspective, solidifying her passion for education. After graduation, Danielle hopes to teach special education.
"Going to different schools and teaching in the area is my favorite part of each day and I am so excited to be able to do that for a living! It is one of my passions to work with students and to see a student who has been struggling with the content start to understand it. It is one of the best feelings!"
A little bit about Danielle
Q. What do you enjoy about your campus experience so far?
A. I have loved all four of my years on campus! My favorite thing about campus is when the leaves change in the fall and everything is so beautiful! Besides how campus looks, I have loved getting to know so many different people through the College of Education!
Q. What do you enjoy about the College of Education?
A. One thing that I really enjoy about the College of Education is how understanding the professors are. We work so hard and many of our assignments can get overwhelming, but they are always there for your questions, your concerns, and will be there to just support you with anything you need. Suzanne Lee was one of my favorite professors. She really wanted us to understand the material for the good of our teaching and our students, not just for an assignment. She was always available to meet to discuss topics or assignments even with her busy schedule. I know we all learned so much in her classes and she was always there to support us through the program!
Q. Tell us a fun fact:
A. When I was a kid, I would only watch cooking shows!
