Learning Outcomes: ▪️Identify evidence-based pharmacologic options and non-pharmacologic pain management interventions in reproductive care ▪️Understand how systemic issues, gender biases, and the normalization of pain in reproductive and gynecologic care influence pain assessment and treatment ▪️Demonstrate increased comfort-initiating and transparent conversations about expected pain in reproductive and gynecologic care ▪️Recognize how your own stigma, values, and biases may influence the normalization of pain and impact on discussing pain management options ▪️Identify facilitators and barriers to providing adequate pain management and develop strategies to overcome these barriers ▪️Demonstrate increased confidence in delivering trauma-informed, patient-centered pain management counseling ▪️Engage in shared decision-making conversations to support patient autonomy and collaboratively develop individualized pain management plan |
