The UIC Family Medicine Center at University Village is a full-service Family Medicine clinic offering a full range of primary care services. Students who do not have a primary care doctor in the city are encouraged to establish care with Family Medicine.
Students who have a primary care doctor elsewhere are still able to come to the center for evaluation and treatment of acute/urgent needs under the Student Health Services Fee (colds, UTI, Sexual health for example). All UIC students pay a Health Services Fee which covers a limited set of health services at no additional cost to students. Please note, the Health Services Fee does NOT cover all health services provided at the Family Medicine Center. Student Health is also NOT an insurance plan.
The Family Medicine Center offers day, evening and same-day appointments at a convenient location on the East side of UIC’s campus. They accept Campus Care and most other insurance types.
