Good morning,
I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to invite Master’s, DNP, and PhD students who may be interested in sharing their career paths and professional development experiences with undergraduate nursing students.
As part of the undergraduate course NURS 288: Readiness for Nursing Practice (Dr. Amy Johnson), we are organizing a career panel session on Monday, 3/2, to provide BSN students with exposure to diverse career trajectories, including pathways to graduate education (e.g., RN, NP, MSN, DNP, and PhD).
We are hoping to involve students who are open to briefly sharing their academic and/or professional journey, discussing what led them to pursue it, and engaging in informal conversation and Q&A with undergraduate students.
If you are interested or would like more information, please feel free to reach out to me directly at hchoi213@uic.edu. I would be happy to share additional details.
Thank you,
Hannah
