Thanks to feedback about the new campus humanities calendar, we are happy to revise the guidelines for posting events that was distributed last week.
Accordingly, we will not limit postings based on the event date or any potential conflicts with IPRH events. We would, however, greatly appreciate your consideration when scheduling your events since one goal of a centralized humanities events calendar is to avoid scheduling conflicts when possible. Since other campus calendars exist for non-humanities/arts events, we also hope you will use this calendar primarily for events that relate to the humanities and arts. Since IPRH hosts the calendar on our website, we have to ask that you use the submission form so that our Communications Coordinator (Kelly Delahanty) can go into the calendar page and post the information for you. Our goal is to provide a useful tool that will help faculty and students more easily discover information about events of interest to them on campus.
