The IPRH community joins scholars and friends across campus and across the world who are mourning the loss of our beloved friend and colleague, Nancy Abelmann. Nancy was a person of uncommon generosity and intellectual power whose life and work has left a deep imprint on many lives. To say she will be missed hardly begins to capture the sense of grief and loss we feel. There is much more to be said about Nancy’s gifts and love. For now we simply remember her extraordinary self and express our warmest condolences to her family.
