Wow, we're in week 13 of the Spring 2021 semester! And guess what? You made it this far, with only three more weeks to go in the semester!! Although it seems like there's still so much more to do, papers, group assignments, exams, AND final exam preparation, it will be all be over before you know it.
Keep in mind that as you prepare to wrap up this semester, self-care, stress management, and positive outlets are essential in helping you finish out the last few weeks at your best. Remember to get out and get some fresh air, get a quick (or long workout in), go for a drive or walk, and step away from the computer screen.
This semester has proved to be challenging for many, especially as the pandemic continues to shift our worlds. Remember to give yourself time to readjust and process the everchanging nature of our new "normal." But most importantly, give yourself, and others, a little bit of grace.
Remember there are a vast number of recommended resources available to help cope with stress, burnout, and fatigue. Below are a few general tips to help you round out the semester on a high note.
- Sleep
- Healthy Diet
- Regular Exercise (outside if possible and safe)
- Breathing Exercises
- Meditation
