Last week we highlighted tips on preparing for final exams. With only one week remaining, we will include additional tips and encouragement as you prepare for your upcoming exams.
There are many helpful ways to prepare for exams including:
- Reviewing course lectures
- Reviewing/rewriting notes
- Reviewing book chapters
- Study groups
- Making an outline
- Concept mapping
It's always helpful to plan and incorporate study time into your day so that you will get it done. Identify the best times for you to study to ensure you fewer interruptions or other distractions. Find out, if you don't know yet, how you study best: visual, audio, kinesthetic.

Time your study sessions and be sure to build in breaks. Eat balanced meals and get outside for some fresh air and sunlight! Phone a friend or instructor if you're unsure about the content. Check out the CLRC if you need tutoring services. Have a family member or friend test your knowledge.
