On February 5th and 6th, students from the Urban Health Programs, Health Exploration Scholars (HES), and Promoting Academics for Scholarly Success (PASS) visited College of Nursing. The HES and PASS students are introduced to different health care fields throughout their undergraduate school years and along the way learn to become competitive applicants for the health sciences colleges.
During their visit, they learned about the role of nursing and listened to current nursing students about why they wanted to become a nurse. Then, students had a tour at the brand new simulation lab as well as the Midwest Nursing History Research Center.
