On Monday, March 9 high school students from Homewood-Flossmoor High school participated in an all-day career fair. College of Nursing alumna spoke about her experience at the College of Nursing (CON) and what led her to choose a career in nursing. Students were very active and interested in the information given to them.
Charese Jackson, the assistant director for the Urban Health Program, provided the students with information about the Urban Health Programs at UIC and how to get involved. She also explained the different career paths and educational programs avaob;et at CON. The students were inspired by a career in nursing and expressed that UIC was a great choice for their future college education.
