Professor Scott Althaus, Associate Director of the Cline Center, has been awarded a 2014 NCSA Faculty Fellowship for his proposal, “Building a Non-Consumptive Global News Observatory for Data Science Research.” This proposal is connected to the Cline Center's wider goal of becoming the leading text-mining center in the social sciences.
