Due to COVID-19, in-person convocation ceremonies will not be held in May 2021. The School of Information Sciences will hold a virtual convocation ceremony on Saturday, May 15, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. to celebrate December 2020, May 2021, and August 2021 graduates. In order to participate as an August 2021 graduate, undergraduate students must have 13 or less credit hours remaining, and graduate students must have 8 or less credit hours remaining.
The link to the virtual ceremony and a commemorative program will be posted once available. The iSchool virtual convocation ceremony will be recorded and posted after the event.
How to Participate
If you wish to participate in the iSchool virtual convocation ceremony, please complete the iSchool convocation registration form by Sunday, April 18, 11:59 p.m. CT.
Academic Attire
Academic rental attire may be ordered online on the Herff Jones website. All regalia will be shipped and is not available for pickup on campus. Rental fees must be paid in full when placing your online order with Herff Jones.
Apparel and Early Order Pricing
- Bachelor’s mortarboard, gown, stole, and tassel – $56.00
- Master’s or Advanced Certificate mortarboard, gown, hood, and tassel – $64.00
- Doctoral mortarboard, gown, hood, and tassel – $84.00
- Additional stoles of gratitude may be purchased for $22.00.
- Orange and blue souvenir tassels may be purchased for $10
Shipping
Regalia will be shipped to addresses within the United States, and the fee is $12.95. A return label is included with your regalia.
Deadline
The last day to order regalia at the early order discounted price is Thursday, April 1. Orders placed between April 2-21 will be at the regular rate.
