This workshop will include a conversational presentation as well as a guided activity.

  • WiLS is hiring for a one-year, full-time fellowship position to work closely with the Ho-Chunk Nation Department of Historic Preservation (DoHP).

I am excited to share an opportunity that WiLS (formerly Wisconsin Library Services) is offering, thanks to funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities. WiLS is hiring for a one-year, full-time fellowship position to work closely with the Ho-Chunk Nation Department of Historic Preservation (DoHP).

Fellows will work with the WiLS Project Director and with multiple divisions of the DoHP, including Hoocąk Waaziija Haci Language Division, and the Ho-Chunk Nation Museum and Cultural Center. This fellowship offers an opportunity to work on digital preservation and curation, Indigenous information issues, and professional development in the library/archives/museum/preservation field. Also, fellows will have a mentor to develop a learning and training plan to support their career goals and research interests while advancing the DoHP projects.

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. WiLS will start the first review of applications on March 5, 2021.

Here is a link to the position. Please feel free to send it to any and all that may be interested!

Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns about the Curating Indigenous Digital Collections Fellowship opportunity.

    All the best,
