Being Alone
You have to realize that not everyone likes you. There are lots of pressure on leaders because they have the central power to control the whole. In turn, their power may prevent them to be the most likable person, since not everyone wants to be controlled by rules. To be a good leader, you may need to deal with time-management, scheduling jobs, responsibility to a difficult situation, strategic thinking, and you need to make the hard decision all by your own. Be clam under such pressure and changing environment is crucial in leadership.

When I was young, adults always talked about how cruel the world is. They said “you will know when you go to work” and “there are a lot of things to deal with in a working environment”. Young people now usually complaint about how their bosses treat them unfriendly or how their leaders burden them with bunch of assignments. Yet, from leader’s perspective, they want the company to be profitable or socially valuable. They expect employees to do the right things and create values to the company. Workers need leaders to provide framework and guidelines, and leaders need workers to be creative and confident in decision making. In some companies, it is not easy to connect a good relationship with workers. Leaders need to understand the importance of building a healthy working environment and keep members motivated.
Communication Problem
A good leader is always a good communicator. Your way to delivery instruction maybe direct phone call, face-to-face conversation, or group discussions. No matter which way you choose, it is necessary to keep message brief and clear. There exists people with different cultural backgrounds that may not understand your way of speaking properly. Thus, it is a leader’s job to alter way of communication and provide suitable methods for effective conversation.
