Dual Degree with Agricultural & Consumer Economics
Biography: I am beyond thrilled to start my dual-degree with the Ischool! I would love to work for the biotech or fintech industry once I graduate.
Why Information Sciences: Living in this day and age, being able to navigate your way virtually is important. Whether ornot your career deals directly with data or software, it is still critical to know some basics.Withthat being said, I want to pursue a degree in Information Sciences for a few different reasons.I believe this major will help me further my professional interests as well as my personalones. Professionally, because we are living in a digital world, every industry will require someknowledge of this subject so in a way I am just doing what is required of me. I hope to work inthe consulting field right after graduation with my finance background and then want to moveonto the business side of healthcare. With skills in information sciences as well as finance,this gives me enough tools to work in multiple fields.
