Biography: I’m a transfer student coming from the University of Miami, where I was double majoring in Business Analytics and Marketing. I love helping others, and I have a tech consulting and tech assistance business.
Why Information Sciences: I’m extremely passionate about the development of futuristic information technology systems, so I’m excited to be in a program where I get to both learn about and use IT systems!
Campus Involvement & Experiences: I enjoy volunteering greatly, so I’ve held a number of volunteer positions as a tutor, tech helper (my first volunteer tech position I held in high school was for my local library — yay Library Sciences :) ), and camp counselor. This summer I’ve devoted my time to volunteer projects including creating and managing a VOIP phone support line to connect Coronavirus first responders with mental health professionals who provide on-call support.
