Biography: Hi there! I'm Edison, but most people call me Eddie. I transferred to UIUC in the Spring of 2020, and was admitted to the iSchool for the Spring 2021 semester and I'm currently on track to graduate in Spring 2022. I'm excited to study and collaborate with fellow iSchool peers and apply lessons from the classroom to the real-world!
Why Information Sciences: Had a great experience being a data analyst intern over last summer, and decided that it was the career choice that interested me most. Also enjoy working with data to create reports and visualizations that can be used to help others. I recently got excited to hear about how the data being used from our COVID-19 testing on campus is being shared with and implemented at other universities. This shows how valuable the power of information can be during a pandemic to create a safe environment for students across the nation.
