Biography: My name is Jingyu Dai, and I am an international student from China. I am a nice person, and I am willing to make friends in iSchool. I enjoy playing video games and LEGO.
Why Information Sciences: Information Sciences is an interdisciplinary major that enables me to explore different areas I am interested in, such as data analysis. Besides, IS is a subject that combines academic knowledge and practical skills. I used to learn some statistics, but I don't know how to deal with raw statistics. After IS107, I learned how to analyze raw data by using Python. I hope I could learn more useful skills and knowledge in the future.
Campus Involvement and Experiences: I used to work for an academic club in my high school. My job is collecting and revising notes from my schoolmates and sharing these notes with the whole school.
