The Illinois Climate Action Plan commits our campus to carbon neutrality no later than 2050, which will require economic and low-carbon energy sources. iSEE is inviting campus and community members to an online conversation, where presenters will discuss the U of I's energy portfolio and the possiblity of a new source: micronuclear reactors. Speakers will also discuss iCAP goals, cutting-edge research on microreactor technology, safety, and waste disposal. Time will be allowed for audience questions.
