Kuang-Pu is an educator, researcher, and training and development professional with over 20 years of experience in engineering, workplace learning, and human resource development (HRD). He has worked across both industry and higher education settings, including serving as an Adjunct Professor at Jackson State University, where he teaches courses in HRD and continuing education. He is also an experienced adult educator with over 20 years of teaching and training experience.
His research focuses on workplace learning, employee motivation, and performance. Using a mixed-methods approach, his work examines how intrinsic and extrinsic motivations, social and environmental factors, and basic psychological needs influence workplace learning effectiveness and subsequent job performance. His research aims to support organizations in designing more effective, evidence-based learning and development practices.
