Jenny is an online doctoral student in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership with a concentration in Learning Design and Leadership with emphasis in e-learning in higher education. She joined the New Students Programs department at UIUC in 2022 where she supports the development of new student programming and activities. Her research interests are e-learning, cultural competence, study abroad, and learning ecologies.
Her previous work experience allowed her to live internationally for almost a decade. This inspired her passion for working with students to enhance their learning experiences, deepen their cultural awareness and improve their cultural competence.
