The annual Report of Non-University Activities (RNUA) process began on September 20, 2021. University policy requires academic staff to disclose and obtain prior approval for non-university income producing activities. Civil service staff members are not required to submit an RNUA, but they are still required to disclose any potential conflicts under Policy and Rules, Rule 16.01. Civil Service staff do not need to complete a form if they do not have any potential conflicts.
If you have potential conflicts to disclose, please submit the Disclosure Form for Civil Service Employees that can be found at https://www.vpaa.uillinois.edu/rnua/civil_service. Completed forms should be submitted to your supervisor for approval and then sent to the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Forms can be sent through campus mail or scanned and sent via email. More information is available online through the link, and you can review copies of the conflict of commitment and interest policies at https://www.vpaa.uillinois.edu/rnua/coci_policy.
Please do not hesitate to contact Sarah Zehr (szehr@uillinois.edu) with questions or concerns. Thank you for your cooperation in this process and for your continued support of the University of Illinois.
